About Law Offices of Michael T. Conroy
Michael graduated from St. John's University Law School in 1992 and immediately began work as an Assistant District Attorney in the Richmond County District Attorney's Office where he tried major cases, including homicides, and supervised the Target Crime Initiative Program before opening his own practice in July, 2002.
Since opening private practice Michael has focused on criminal defense and family law, including divorce. Michael has tried numerous criminal and family court matters including, but not limited to, homicides, major frauds, divorces, child custody disputes, child neglect and abuse allegations, orders of protection and child support.
Michael has provided commentary on television for Court TV and TRU-TV on multiple cases including Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson, Anna Nicole Smith, Casey Anthony and others. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the National District Attorneys Association from 1997 through 2002.
